As a custom specialty shop, we are certified to work on all ski and snowboard equipment, including skis, snowboards, bindings and boots. Our technicians our tooled with the latest technology to perform virtually any repair including edge repair, helicoiling, delamination and base extrusion. For those of you who are just looking to get your skis or board tuned up, consider an expert tune at High Adventure. We have stone grinding and ceramic disc beveling machines, plus a first-rate staff to put life back into your equipment.
The following is an example of our basic tune-up:
Clean base of residual waxes, dirt and debris
Wet-sand excess p-tex from base and edges
Diamond-stone grind base for flush, clean surface (skis only)
Wet-sharpen edges
Wet-bevel base
Diamond-stone grind base for polish pass, cutting micro-pattern for retaining wax (skis only)
Hot wax base, clean skis
